Emergency Shutdown Forged Steel ball Valve Background/work conditions of this project:The Emergency shutdown forged steel ball valve supplied by RAYS FLOW CONTROL to an offshore processing facility in Kazakhstan are ready to ship。Before this project,the customer of this project has been using an emergency shutdown ball valve imported from Europe and the United States. After a productive discussion with the customer, we have formulated the most suitable product design plan for them. With RAYS’long-term experience in design and manufacturing of emergency shutdown ball valves, RAYS’ strict control of product quality have won the trust and support of the customer. Specifications/materials of this product:The product specifications of the order: Pneumatic Three-Piece Side Entry Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve, Size: 4”x 3″, Pressure: 300LB, Body Material: LF2 CL.1, Stem: 17-4PH, Other internal parts using F31, and drive method using BIFFI actuator imported from Germany.According to the requirements of working conditions, this adopts DBB Low Emission design structure to prevent greater damage caused by media leakage in case of emergency. In each production process, RAYS adopts international top inspection and testing equipment such as: Spectro PMI material spectrometer imported from Germany and FARO CMM Coordinate Measuring Machine imported from USA to strictly control the product quality in each production process to ensure the product service life of 25 years and above. Inspection and testing requirements:The final product passed API 6D inspection standards under SGS as the third party inspection and was successfully delivered to the customer. Recently, RAYS successfully delivered a new C-type PIG VALVE for a foreign end-user, which will be used in an important pipeline project in the Arctic, contributing to the global energy strategy. The PIG VALVE is a new type of valve that serves as a transmitting and receiving device for pipe cleaners, and it also functions as a universal ball valve.
